The users and manufacturers organisation CiA was founded in 1992 as a non-profit trade-association in order to provide technical, product and marketing information for CAN. CiA’s web site represents an important medium to get information about CAN and CAN FD technology, about CANopen and CANopen FD specifications, as well as activities of the organization.
